Heidi over at HoneyBear Lane is hosting a giveaway for my “How to Slipcover” DVD….head on over and check it out. It goes through Saturday.
I was featured a few times over the weekend! I was feautured over at Craptastic and Pink and Polka Dot! Now on to my post….
COUCH— Before…good lines, but a little tired and old looking.
CHAIR— Before
Couch– After. My client decided to replace the cushions along the back with five Euro sized pillows. She got two different fabrics for pillows, so she can switch them out and change her look. THIS IS LOOK #1
Front of couch— she opted for no skirt.
Here is her couch with her second set of pillows. LOOK #2.
She went with a white denim for the slipcovers.
Here is her couch and chairs together! On the wingbacks, she decided to do a skirt….just to mix it up a bit. Actually her 19 yr old son decided, she couldn’t decide…so she asked him what he thought. Skirt it was.

Love the chair and sofa and those pillows! I love how she can get a whole new look for the room simply by changing the pillow covers!
I have been thinking about ordering your CD….though I am afraid I won’t be able to do it! lol I sew “alright” nothing too terribly hard….I even already have the fabric! I have looked high and low in my town for someone who does slipcovers….there is no one! Crazy! Do you think I could do it even though I’m not a skilled seamstress???

You are amazing! I have that very couch in an awful green and I figured I would just donate it because it doesn’t match my coastal look. Does the DVD teach you how to sow because I would need that to be able to do it myself? Are the slip covers easy to wash? I have four kids and I would love a white couch but don’t dare. Anyway your truly talented.

You said you have 3 boys. I have 2 boys and a 2 girls. I pretty sure my boys are the messiest kids ever. How easy is it to wash your slip covers? and are they durable (I mean can they handle kids?)

I just received your DVD in the mail and am excited to make a slipcover for a chair in our famly room. Thought I would check some of your previous projects and ran across this one which is hilarious because THIS is my exact chair! Same fabric. Fun to see what it will look like once I make the slipcover :))
