Second Item of Business-
My client picked up this chair off KSL.com to have me make her a nursery rocker slipcover out of white linen from Joanns. I ended up lining it to give it some more weight and to cover the worn pink gingham. I have done tons of slipcovers for my clients mom, and I always love seeing all their antiques and collections! Beautiful stuff!
BEFORE–worn pink gingham rocker
AFTER–white linen slipcover, with a triple fullness gathered skirt!
AFTER–1.5″ blind hem on the skirt
Check out the rest of the nursery! Beautiful white painted floors, antique dresser, and vintage laundry basket filled with antique teddy bears!
I LOVE mixing old with new! It adds such dimension to a space!

Just beautiful!

The nursery is adorable, however looks are not as important as safety when it comes to babies and unfortunately there are many unsafe things in this room. The vintage bears and there button eyes are a choking hazard, the antique crib is also very dangerous. When it comes to babies better safe than sorry.
Shelley says
I completely agree about baby safety! The crib is actually brand new (just looks antique), those teddy bears will be moved before the baby is born.
